Information On The Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony

The Ethiopian coffee ceremony is very important in the Ethiopian culture. The coffee ceremony will be performed when friends visit, during celebrations, or simply as a part of the daily routine. It is so important to how the Ethiopians view coffee that most Ethiopian restaurants will have the coffee ceremony performed for you at your table.

The Ethiopian coffee ritual takes the participants through the entire coffee preparation process. Whether you are witnessing the ritual in a restaurant or lucky enough to participate in someone’s home, the green coffee beans will be brought to your table by a woman. She will wash the beans, and then start a fire in a small open roasting furnace.

The washed beans will be put into a small pan with a long handle and held over the fire. The woman preparing the beans will shake the pan back and forth, like an old-fashioned popcorn maker. This keeps the bean from burning. Some people have described the sound of the shaking beans as similar to shaking coins in a tin can. Once the beans are roasted, the preparer takes the pan and walks around the room, filling the room with the enticing aroma of freshly roasted coffee. Experiencing the sounds and smells is an important part of the ritual.

The next step in the Ethiopian coffee ceremony is to grind the freshly roasted beans. In restaurants, they may use an electric grinder to speed up the process. Traditionally, the beans will be ground in a small tool called a mukecha (pronounced moo-key-cha). The mukecha is a very heavy wooden bowl. The beans are poured inside, and then crushed with a zenezena, which is a wooden or metal stick that is used in an up and down motion, rather like a mortar and pestle.

The ground coffee is then put into a traditional clay pot called a jebena (pronounced jay-ben-ah). Water is added, and then the pot is put over heat until the coffee boils. The scent of the boiling coffee again fills the room, tempting the senses of all the participants of the ritual.

Coffee prepared in the Ethiopian coffee ritual is then served in small ceramic cups resembling the small cups you see in Chinese restaurants for tea. The cups are arranged on a tray very close together, and the coffee is poured from one cup to another in a single pour from the pot. This is a very important step, even if some sloshes onto the tray. If the server poured each cup individually, the coffee grounds would get mixed up with the liquid, resulting in gritty coffee. With the single pour method, the coffee remains free of the sediment.

Once you’ve taken your first sip, you’ve witnessed the full life-cycle of making coffee, from washing the raw beans, through roasting, grinding, and boiling the coffee. If you’re in a restaurant, the ceremony usually ends here. Traditionally, second and third servings are often prepared as well. Each serving has its own name: the first serving is called Abol, the second serving is called Huletegna, and the third serving is called Bereka. Once you’ve reached this stage, you have completed the Ethiopian coffee ceremony.

Starting A Successful Vending Machine Business

One thing almost every business has in common is that their people like to eat. Regardless of the size of the business, everyone gets hungry at some point during the day. Many professional offices today are set up in refurbished homes and most have a kitchen in which their employees can eat lunch or grab a snack during the day. The problem with this set up is that someone from the business has to run to the store for supplies occasionally.

Offering your shopping service to business may require you to visit the business and take stock of their food inventories before heading to the store or you can have someone call or fax in an order and you can go shopping and replenish their food supply. They may also have a coffee service along with frozen or refrigerated meals and a microwave and if not, you can offer the suggestion and possibly increase your business.

Vending machines are not longer the sole property of large companies. An individual can buy their own vending machines and install them in many different types of businesses such as auto repair shops, small factories and the break rooms of nearly every type of business. Merchandise to sell in vending machines can be bought at wholesale through shopping clubs and if you keep the prices reasonable, the turn of the merchandise can quickly turn your machines into a profitable business.

The trick to operating a successful vending machine business is to keep the product fresh as any out of date food items that remain will quickly cause you to lose the right to keep the machines in place. Fast response to any complaints or a malfunctioning machine will also help keep your machines producing an income. While one or two machines may help you get this business started, having several large and small vending machines will quickly add to your profits.

The food service industry has come a long way since the days of trucks driving around to factories with hot and cold sandwiches and drinks. There are many ready to eat microwavable meals that can be purchased at wholesale and resold to businesses for their employees. A word of caution on food service however, is that you should only buy from reputable suppliers and make sure that all food safety steps are taken. Someone getting sick from eating a sandwich that has gone bad will quickly kill your business and you bank account.

There are numerous opportunities in the food service industry catering to businesses and by talking to the employees their needs can be better addressed. While a business owner or manager may believe they know what their employees want, it is the workers dropping their coins into the machine and it is their needs being met that will make your business successful.

The Vending Machine Services As A Business Venture

]]>

Vending machines have been recorded as early as the first century B.C., but only in the late 1880s did it come to prominence. During those times these were primarily postcard and gumball machines with one-coin simple mechanisms, a single selection and accepted.

The multi-selection, multiple-coin, change-dispensing type of vending machines we recognize today originated in the 1940s. These only accepted coins, featured mechanical vend mechanisms and required no power to operate. In the ’40s, of course, these did not dispense change, and were limited to 20 items in its selection.

Earlier soda machines had simple features like required power to refrigerate the product. The current vending machine design has complex features like spiral dispense, full change capacity, bill acceptance, more than a dozen soda and snack selections. This design came to being in the late 1960s and was further refined in the 1970s.

Current improvements in vending machine technology have since been based on electronics and computer innovation. Today’s vending machines accept a variety of payment types – credit cards, large denomination bills, cell phone charges (charging a product to your cell phone bill) – plus it can be monitored remotely through the Internet, can produce sales figures to individual unit numbers (e.g. sold 13 Snickers and 8 Doritos out of this machine last week), log machine entry times, and can even provide surveillance with camera technology. Yes, technology has come a long way.

The same as any innovation, vending machine technology is responding to market need. The success of vending operators has fuelled this technology with their purchasing habits. Like all businesses, if technology affords a profitable advantage, that product is proven to have a market. The fact that the vending machine manufacturers have continued to produce better vending machines means that the vending business can be a reliable venture.

Like all other businesses, proper operation is the key to success. Identifying your market, its location, the products you are offering, and the type/s of vending equipment you’ll use, all these are factors in the success of your vending machine business.

Successful vending machine companies in the United States are almost a thousand, and if you think the vending business is for you, then offer to work for a company in for free. Yes, for free?! The best way to learn it is through invaluable experiences and real-world education.

The business of vending machines is an established industry, so don’t try to be radical and reinvent the wheel immediately. Start with working on a proven system until you achieve profitability, then implement new systems to improve your economies of scale. Don’t fall into the trap of believing that the rules of the business do not apply to you.

So what do vending machines cost?
Determining the cost of vending machines depends on the location in which the vending machines will be deployed.

Successful vending operators have a formula to determine the value of the equipment to be placed into a given account. Surveys show that most operators want to pay off the equipment with 9 months’ profit from the vending machine account. This equates to about half of the gross sales for a 9-month period. If they project an account to do ,000 in sales in 9 months, then the equipment cost should be ,000 or less. The rule is that what is less capital, effectively produces more profit from investment.

Now it’s time to find the vending machine equipment. You can choose between used or brand-new equipment.

New equipment is priced at ,000 to ,000 per vending machine and depends on the type of machine, as well as its options. The choices are snack machines, soda machines, refrigerated machines, frozen food machines, change machines, and more. Options include payment methods, size of vending machine, number of selections, electronics packages, etc.

Used vending machine equipment has also options on pricing, these range from free to several thousand dollars. Just make sure you have a clear title. Be extremely careful in buying a branded machine, because you may have problems on the ownership rights with the brand that owns it.

You can also find operators selling their vending equipment through advertisements. Initial costs might be low, the time and repair costs can be excessive, making other alternatives actually less expensive in the long run.

Concentrating on refurbished vending machines is suggested. Select the refurbishment level that the customer needs, and stick to your pre-determined budget. Expect to pay at least ,000 per machine. And don’t forget to factor shipping.

Are you a caffeine addict like me? The aroma of brewed coffee can really stimulate the senses. But people will start feeling the effects more after sipping since this is when the effects of coffee really kick in.

What exactly are the effects of coffee? Studies have shown this can boost someone’s alertness, improve performance and concentration. In the body, this signifies an increase in the heart rate, blood pressure and basal metabolic rate. It will also promote urine production and can help relax muscle tension. It is the reason why that a lot of us have coffee while studying for a test, to help waking up in the morning or work during night shifts.

The main ingredient in coffee is caffeine. Research shows that it is harmless to drink one or two cups every day. However, if someone exceeds this quantity he can suffer the negative effects such as difficulty sleeping, headaches, irregular heartbeat, muscle tension and nausea. This can also lead to ulcer or heartburn, which is why experts also recommend individuals to drink in a moderate way.

Coffee isn’t good for women who are pregnant or patients who have heart disease and they should not consume it since it could cause birth defects or other health problems.

But persons who drink coffee can also experience the same effects by drinking substances that contain caffeine. For example, chocolate, sodas or tea.

Coffee may not make the person do a foolish thing which is normally related with the consumption of illegal substances or alcohol. But it may form a habit. People who drink it regularly and all of a sudde stop may feel what is called a withdrawal effects that will go away after a day or two when they are able to once again drink a cup of coffee.

It appears that certain diseases have been prevented by coffee. Java for instance is effective as an anti-depressant, now that is definitely what we can call good effects of coffee. The chances of developing Parkinson’s disease in men is lessen by other types of coffee even if physicians aren’t yet able to determine the cause of this disease.

In almost every household, coffee is being consumed. It can be purchased from the store or brewed at home or in the office.

The effects of coffee has on one person might differ with another depending on how well the body is able to react to the caffeine so when the individual feels this is enough, it is time to stop rather than feeling the negative effects of consuming too much. Nonetheless it is hard to beat a good cup of coffee in the morning. But since I want to better take care of my health I will try to drink a bit less coffee and start drinking some green tea during the day. Well like I said at least I will try.

What Are the Health Effects of Drinking Coffee?

Many people simply do not drink caffeinated coffee because of their fear of negative health effects. The fact of the matter is that recent studies have shown that a moderate amount of coffee could actually benefit you by reducing your overall risk of some serious illnesses and diseases. Many people drink coffee simply because of it’s energizing effects which help keep you awake longer and feeling less groggy in the morning. If you are drinking too much coffee there are of course negative side effects that can come of it despite the positivity of these new studies. This article will look at some of the potential health effects drinking coffee could have on you.

It has been suggested that females who consume excessive amounts of coffee can suffer from infertility and sometimes have problems with birth. There are markedly more stillbirth deliveries inwomen who say they drank coffee throughout pregnancy. Your chances of miscarriages can also be significantly higher if you drink two or more cups per day. Too much coffee during pregnancy can also cause low birth weight. Switching to decaffeinated coffee may not offer a solution, as the chemicals present in the decaffeination process may still be present in trace amounts. Men get the added benefit of a reduced risk of developing gout by drinking coffee. Gout is a recurring condition that is commonly identified by symptoms such as painful swelling and inflammation of the joints – particularly in the foot or ankles. Gout is often considered a condition of the big toe but the truth is it can effect the ankles, legs, arms, and fingers as well. The impact is joints that are hot and tender and may be red or swollen. It’s thought that gout is caused by high levels of uric acid within the body, which is also linked to kidney stones. Research indicates that drinking coffee reduces the level of uric acid in the body.

It is a commonly held belief that caffeine raises the risk of high blood pressure but no formal studies have come to that conclusion. Because coffee is a stimulant, many people feel on edge or irritable after consuming too much coffee. If a susceptible person drinks too much coffee, it’s possible that the caffeine could decrease that person’s resistance to stress. This can make them feel more stressed and anxious about things that normally wouldn’t invoke those feelings. If a person is feeling under stress, symptoms such as an irregular heartbeat, increased heart rate or increased blood pressure may emerge. Those who drink too much coffee are especially susceptible.

Don’t forget that even though there are good benefits for drinking coffee there are plenty of negative effects to remain cautious about. Play it safe by drinking in moderation. You’ll be enjoying some of the recently discovered health benefits and avoiding some of the negative effects by moderating the amount you drink.

From the makers of Philips and Douwe Egberts’ coffee roasters comes a new breed of brewing systems. The Senseo coffee makers had been technologically crafted with
modern smooth layout and slim figure.

The Senseo coffee maker is a modernly sleek silhouette that does not look additional like a traditional brewer. In reality, offered the visual home, it similarly looks like a
traditional cannister inside your kitchen table.

It features a cylindrical upright form curving towards the person. Choosing from 4 distinctive traditional colors- black, white, blue and red- this sophisticated contemporary
sleek layout is very a coordinate in your kitchen.

Like any other items, Senseo machines has three primary attributes- ostentatiously fashionable, revolutionary coffee pods along with a basic person interface.

Senseo line of coffee machines are all single serve brewing system. Each and every time a newer sequence is introduced, nicely needless to say, new functions are also
extra in. A nicer news about the system is always that you are not restricted to use only with Philips and Douwe products. It is possible to in fact acquire coffee pods designed
for the Senseo system and fill them with your favorite blend.

The mechanics of Senseo coffee machines brews coffee at a touch of a button pushing the previous drip machines in to the junk pile. Originally, the coffee brewing program
are correctly balanced to deliver the best cup of pre-dosed coffee unique for every particular person. Brews a cup or two of gourmet coffee with the use on the coffee pods in
the touch of a button in much less than a minute, this convenient machine provides you no worries with automobile shut off program following an hour of dormancy. With
dishwasher secure removable components, cleaning up is straightforward.

The Senseo Deluxe- HD7820 will be the prime of the range in Senseo New Era series, which was introduced in 2007. Addressing the principal consumer complaints of an
intractable spout from Unique Senseo series, this New Era Senseo Deluxe single serve coffee gourmet maker HD7820 continues to be corrected and added with a capability
to brew cappuccino and tea.

The most recent member of Senseo coffee machines is the HD7860 series, also referred to as Senseo Quadrante was launched in September 2009. Leaving the traditional
Senseo style, it adopts the well-known house design of coffee makers. Readily available in European marketplace featuring smooth new styling and all the preferred
characteristics in the traditional Senseo, this new style statement definitely helps make a difference. Molded by heavy-duty plastic in curved edges, the HD7860 series’ techno
lines fit just appropriate in any modern day kitchen.

Among the adjustments on the Quadrante model is the greater program of temperature regulation making a steaming hot scrumptious cup of coffee or tea. With a shorter
h2o container that holds 1.2L of h2o, refilling inside a short sink is much more handy. The three-buttoned controls are situated on the leading with the machine. Other
features are peak adjustable drip tray along with a shorter auto off program than the traditional Senseo types.

In the event you go to cappuccino, then go for Senseo Latte Choose, which includes a milk tank that piggy-backs around the machine. In addition to that, the milk tank is
detachable for refrigeration to prevent spoilage of milk.

As I was heading via with Senseo coffee maker critiques, each coffee enthusiast’s requirements is diverse from your other coffeeholic’s. The pros of one is the cons from the
other. And vice versa.

Majority of the Senseo coffee maker critiques comment around the fact that coffee pods are a lot expensive. But let’s encounter it. Thinking about that you don’t brew a pot
of coffee for a consumption of one or two that just go to waste after, then that is also acknowledged as economical by some reviewers.

What’s peaceful with one is really a bit louder using the other. Or what is distasteful to him may be wealthy for you. It is just a matter of private selection. Most detrimental
critiques are genuinely private taste issues that probably with just a little adventure on cupping and coping with pods, these might be resolved.

The use of equipment like the I-Roast 2 Coffee Roaster and the Coffee Grinder – Supremo for home coffee bean roasting is fundamental during the home roasting method in order to produce a very flavorful and aromatic product.

I-Roast 2 Coffee Roasters

The I-Roast is the finest coffee roaster to use in home coffee bean brewing. It works by using direct stream of hot air that penetrates the beans with an upward movement that could both roasts and mixes it in the process. Then, this air stream carries the chaff away from the roasted beans and moves them to the collector that surrounds the top neck of the roasting pot. During the final minutes of the roasting cycle, a special cool down mode cools both the beans and the roaster to the appropriate temperature since roasting temperature can be as hot as 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Here are some important tips and reminders when using the I-Roast 2 Coffee Roaster:

▪ Roasting cycle is only up to 15 minutes.
▪ Roasting time and temperature should be adjusted accurately.
▪ Always check the roasting temperature during the roasting cycle.
▪ In order to control the final roasting results, either decrease or increase the roasting temperature during the roasting cycle.
▪ The device has a memory function. It can store up to 10 roaster curves and 2 pre-programmed curves even if the unit is unplugged.
▪ It has a patented well tunnel and thermoreflector design that is very well suited for evenly roasting the coffee beans.
▪ It has an LCD that can display the time, temperature, and other functional and processing information.

Coffee Grinder – Supremo

A coffee grinder is needed in home coffee bean brewing. This coffee bean grinder has a 17 position grind selector that can grind the coffee beans from fine to extremely coarse particles. It can be cleaned easily as it has the removable burr and the container with the lid can be stored in the refrigerator. Aside from that, the Coffee Grinder – Supremo also has the following features:

▪ A large ¼ pound hopper
▪ A powerful 130 watt motor
▪ It is UL listed with 110 volt

Consider why you might want to drink coffee on a regular basis. If you do a little bit of research, you may find that there are certain health benefits which it has to offer. You could end up fairly impressed by this to the point of wanting to make drinking it a habit! Of course, they pertain to black, regular coffee with nothing such as sugar added. Also brewed coffee specifically is likely to bring about these benefits. Although coffee does have certain health benefits, it’d likely not be a good idea to attempt to use it as a replacement for other things such as fruits and vegetables.

Not only might you gain the health benefits of coffee, but also it could be a good energy source. Surely it’s a good idea to drink it soon after waking up, and perhaps in portions throughout the day, but try to avoid it soon or around 4 to 5 hours before going to bed.

How much coffee should you drink? The answer is different for different people, obviously due to their different lifestyles. While up to 3, or EVEN 6 cups a day might work for one, it could possibly be too much for another person’s system to handle. It depends on various things, such as eating and drinking habits, how many calories the individual pretty much burns on a regular basis, amongst things. A person who beigns to drink coffee ought to consider having around a cup at first, and gradually increase the amount when it’d seem proper to. It might be a good idea to be sure that your appetite is fairly relieved before drinking coffee. One of the things coffee might do is speed up your metabolism, and perhaps it’d be bet that that doesn’t occur while you’re on an empty stomach. This could even serve as a primary reason for one to eat at least a little bit, or eat breakfast, shortly after waking up; so conditions will be much more suitable for coffee. You may even want to consider eating quite much so as to ensure that conditions are good for what would be a large amount of coffee in your opinion, if that’s what you’d prefer. Although coffee itself might significantly burn calories and increase the heart rate, both of which occur during exercise, it possibly should not be thought of as the main way for a typical person to burn calories and increase the heart rate.

You just might find the sort of coffee recommended above to be pleasing to the taste buds, to whatever extent. Think about the effect this might have for possible cravings for unhealthy foods in general. This possible pleasing of the taste buds may also help keep you convinced to hold onto coffee-drinking as a habit. See whether or not you find the taste pleasing. This can depend very much on the company you use, so do a little searching until you find one which suits you.

Like many topics and issues in the health and weight loss industry I believe drinking coffee for health and weight loss has been left unsettled with a growing controversy every day. People having all kinds of views whether bias or unbiased, has really made this topic difficult to come to a conclusion. So from all my research, studying, and experimenting I believe I have been able to come up with the unbiased truth on the topic drinking coffee for health and weight loss.

I would like to start off and put to rest some myths you might of heard that just seem to be used against coffee that have been proven wrong. So let me just quickly clear up these myths.

First, the caffeine in coffee does not increase the risk of coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, liver injury, pancreatic cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, breast cancer incidence, or certain types of cancers. The truth is coffee actually decreases the risks or has absolutely no effect on these health conditions when coffee consumption is taken in moderation.

Second, the argument that declares coffee as a drug because of its drug like qualities like addiction, a stimulant, and mood altering. These things can become a problem without moderation a discipline but coffee being one of the healthiest beverages out there, I would rather have people drinking coffee than soda pops or sugar drinks.

Third, an excess of coffee increases urinary secretion of important minerals such as magnesium, potassium and sodium and uses up a fair amount of vitamin B1. These minerals and vitamins are very important to our body’s health but that is why I like to bring up several tests that have been conducted which should clarify a few things. These test proved that people that drink coffee consume an average of 8 to 14% more minerals and vitamins than people that don’t drink coffee. I don’t know if coffee drinkers eat healthier or what but there mineral and vitamin loss is made up by consumption of food and daily multi-vitamins.

These myths have had an impact on the questions and controversy against coffee being benefial or not for healthy living and weight loss. I must point out that anything in excess is bad for you so when people say coffee is unhealthy, I can most of the time point out ten unhealthier things they do instead of drinking coffee.

Now that we are pasted that, let us focus on the advantages and disadvantages of coffee.

Advantages:

Coffee is actually one of the healthiest beverages billions of people consume regularly.

Coffee containing with bitter orange, hydroxycitric acid, and chromium can encourage an increase up to 30% in metabolic rate.

Coffee with exercise when taking 300mg averages a 20% increase in energy and fatigue while burning fat increased 107% greater than without caffeine.

Caffeine in coffee keeps our brains alert and receptive of new information.

Regular consumption of coffee decreases the risk of type II diabetes and many other health risks.

Disadvantages:

Coffee when consumed in excess can be addictive, stimulate, and a mood charger.

A large amount of coffee or caffeine consumed all at once can have a negative affect on blood sugar levels that influences fat burning that could change into storing fat.

Too much coffee over time can stain your teeth.

With so many benefits of coffee for health and weight loss it is hard to be worried about the few disadvantages when moderation can solve it all.

Step 1 Coffee Clean Up

Coffee when consumed straight and by itself it perfect. Having zero calories, zero carbs, and zero fats one can see that it would not hinder weight loss. When adding all that extra sugars, sweeteners, syrups, alcohol and so on just make it a high calorie dessert.

Sticking with regular or straight shots of coffee with limiting extras like milk and sweeteners is necessary for achieving healthy living and weight loss.

Step 2 – Coffee in Moderation

Too much coffee at one time can affect blood sugar levels so the easy fix is reducing your in take at one time. Spacing out your coffee in take throughout the day would be something to consider and would benefit as an appetite suppressant while reducing chances of increasing blood sugar.

Reducing your coffee in take might be a struggle and can possibly cause headaches and constipation but in the end is worth it.

Step 3 Limit Simple Carbs with Coffee

Avoiding or at least limiting simple carbs while drinking coffee would be wise as coffee can affect blood sugar negatively and adding simple carbs will just encourage an insulin spike.

Step 4 – Exercise

Exercise has so many benefits besides burning calories and suppressing your appetite. Exercise can also help regulate your body’s use of insulin to keep blood sugar down and making coffee have little affect on your body. So make sure you participate in aerobic activities, lift some weights, and keep drinking that coffee and you should achieve weight loss in no time.

Don’t let people tell you coffee is a bad drug and should be avoided at all costs. You know the truth that coffee actually has more benefits than negatives, so enjoy your coffee worry free about hindering for diet and weight loss goals.

Have a great day and God bless!

One thing that is common among coffee drinkers is the search for perfection. It is not just important that you get to have coffee first thing in the morning, but the features must be just right for what you need and for the taste that you are craving for. It is thus fitting that you get the best coffee machine that will suit your taste and your budget.

Do You Need a Grinder?

Those who really demand the best coffee there is often would resort to grinding their own coffee. Grinding coffee will allow a level of control to the final flavor. This is especially important for people who want to have the best espresso.

However, if you can live with ground coffee available in the supermarket, then you can forego those coffee machines that offer a grounding component.

Coffee machine versus Coffee Maker

A lot may get confused about this. After all, isn’t a coffee machine essentially a coffee maker? The answer is no.

A standard drip coffee maker can only make one thing: a good brewed coffee. On the other hand, a coffee machine will allow an owner to create a myriad of other coffee drinks.

The processes of most coffee machines are automated and will only require the steady supply of ground coffee, water, and maybe even milk. Should you only require a perfect brew of coffee, then you can stick with a coffee maker and save money. However, if you need more variety in your coffee drinks throughout the day, then a coffee machine is a good investment.

What Coffee Do You Drink?

Other than brewed coffee, what else do you often drink? The other types may be espresso, cappuccino, and even latte. Knowing what coffee drink you consume the most will determine the coffee machine that you would need.

Essentially, it should be able to create a good espresso base and then have the mechanism to store or heat milk and perhaps steam it. Take note, though, that if you want your coffee machine to make more types of coffee, then you should be ready to pay more, since these machines would turn out to be more expensive.

Should You Consider an Espresso Maker Too?

Aside from generating the necessary pressure to create espresso, most espresso makers can be made to do more. The wand where the espresso comes out can actually heat or steam milk. Simply submerge the wand in milk, and the heat and steam will do the trick. If you don’t care for a bit of manual work, you might save a lot by opting to just get an espresso maker.
